The title of this blog post was inspired by a tweet I read this morning from a frustrated Math student. The tweet said:
Happy thanksgiving I woke up and realized I had math hw due at 8 am WHO GIVES HW DUE ON THANKSGIVING?!
Apparently, this is not an uncommon occurrence as you can see in the next few quotes (also taken from tweets from different Math students):
woke up early to do some math hw bc he got this shit due ON THANKSGIVING ? ?
I’m really doing math hw on thanksgiving ?
i am not thankful for this retarded ass hw my math professor assigned over break
my math teacher is so evil, she gave us a ton of assignments due over thanksgiving break.. like girl, i’m just tryna spend time w my fam, shop, and be joyful… NOT do math hw.
The last tweet–which mentions family and joy–really stuck out to me. It kinda sucks for those students who have to spend their time in Math classes they don’t like and don’t need. But there’s little use in “fighting the power,” these students will likely submit and do their work. Which is commendable, but I KNOW the clients who’ve hired me to do their Math hw this Thanksgiving holiday are happy that they can do what they please while knowing that their work will be completed with a high grade.
I also suppose that I should be thankful for teachers like this because it’s giving me to do too!
Anyway, happy Thanksgiving and if you want to hire a pro to take your Math class please contact us!
